February is flying by

February is a month that is filled with all things heart-shaped, love, candy, and even 25 bags of rice, bars of soap, as well as snacks for the kids.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 I totally understand why He said this. The children are not afraid to ask questions and to seek His Kingdom when it is introduced to them. The adults on the other hand – we tend to want to make sure we understand everything before we jump in, but the children, oh to have the faith of a child. The children are all in.

The way the kids are holding up their fingers is a Thai heart. We were talking about love and how the shepherd (Jesus) loves His sheep (US). The also got to practice their shapes along with colors. They are getting pretty good with colors but are still getting some shapes confused. Oval and circles look a lot alike. In the children’s eyes, a triangle is a house. We love hearing them practicing their English and watching them grow in so many areas.
